Wenskaart Breda is a website I designed to act as an easy way for people in a neighbourhood to communicate with their government. You can add requests, which people can vote on to get them to be seen first by the government.
When interviewing people from the neighbourhood Ijpelaar, we found that they feel
like the government doesn't listen to them. They feel that it's difficult to communicate with them.
That's why I wanted to design something to fix that problem.

This website was my first time coding in HTML, and I discovered I had a knack for
it. I can spend hours on the look and functionality on the website. For example: the requests are shaped
like postcards, so there is still a feel of something physical. The website is designed in a way that is
easy to use for people who don't use technology often. A lot of tutorials and warnings when wanting to
delete something. I chose red to match the colours of Gemeente Breda.
